If you use a font, (not something like Belladonna or sidewalk, that every tom, **** and harry has) it has to be unique, and done properly.
Just by you using some text, and a few effects, it doesnt make it a great logo

FedEx use a default font, with no effects.

Theres mine, quite basic and not that good quality
