Meh, it doesn't matter whether you were going out with someone 20 years older. So long as you are happy with it?
I don't think many (small) age gaps matter really, aslong as everyones happy about the difference and aslong as they love eachother.
1, to 3 years age difference is ok in my opinion. The age difference of 14 to 16 isnt bad at all tbh :)
