I forgot to mention inside the script that it was released under the Creative Commons License (Attribution).

I have since told people that are using it, that it was released under this.

But as Spinter said it's a case of courtesy I guess.

Well really its just a matter of been respected. You dont get respect from using someones work and naming it something else.

Simon did you actually pay the ammount for copyright? it's £97 as my mum found out while copyrighting her art work? (have you got proof of legal copyright) if so im on your side?

and catzy as a matter of resepect you should change the panel back to Invent!/ PowerPanel.

You havent had to pay for interlectual copyright since the begining of the 20th century :eusa_wall you automatically get it. You pay for patents etc but not copyright thats automatic.

This is why I never release anything opensource and I keep control on who uses it and who does not. Also if you never mentioned it was licensed under creative commons, when they downloaded it (e.g it says in the panel the license its under or a copy of the license is included with the download) then you have 0 protection.

Im sure if you PM catszy she will sort something.

Basically, your tech-dude has taken Simon's panel and passed it off as his own.

if you look on the DJ Profiles the layout is the same and the Defult Avatar is and the timetable is the same. SO i think it is a rip.

Well as I said I am happy to resolve the matter but what action needs to be taken? I thought it was just changing the copyright back?
