i think the adam and eve story is jus a representation of how humans developed on earth, and adam and eve just happened to be the examples in the story, they werent real, jus a figure of speech to show how humans came to earth.
In my view, we developed from the smallest thing of dust of which evolved into a small insect and developed into new things and then we developed as mammals through gorrilas and so on. we ourselves are a species of animal, hence us and animals being mammals. we simply just developed from that. if you are thinking who created the earth, if it was 'God', think about all the solar system and ask yourself, who created the other planets? It is an unanswerable question, and the closest we can get to the answers is most likely through scientists views and research and philosophers interpretations and theories :).
In the case of god creating gay and straight people, it links to my earlier explanation of what i think adam and eve were, again we developed and somehow it developed and the sexual actions just got given names, straight and gay :). for all we know, gay could be the new straight haha!
