I understand what you are saying and complains are listen too and considered however there are two things to take into account [this is not aimed at you Carl :P]:

1) Do not break rules or be abusive

2) Management cannot just jump into decisions because that is what one or two members want. Of course if enough members want something to happen it will be strongly considered and taken into accounts but at the end of the day the management's job is to make decisions that they feel are right on the forum but I agree listening to the free speech of members is also very important and considering their arguments and complaints.

Yes. Habbox does allow people to state their opinions but only if it is done is a mature way that is not rude or breaks other forum rules. No one gets a permanent ban for stating their opinion. People only ever get permanent bans if they state their opinion in a way that is unacceptable or disruptive. As I've said I'm all for what is best for Habbox and the speech and complains of members I feel is very important but rudeness and or causing disruption when stating opinions is simply not acceptable. People can easily state their opinions in a mature and well mannered way and it will be listen to. :)

Well how do you expect some people to act? Not being listened to will start off a ranting argument with swearing... No matter how mature or immature. A simple PM or a post saying "all ideas have been taken into consideration and forwarded to the management" would be a good idea. All decisions can be argued, every community or nation puts forward rules and ideas which are then changed in a few years when the public are disagreeing, then you put it to the vote. Habbox can be the same. Habbox Forum is a big enough community to have an announcement telling everyone that a new idea is coming into play, what do you think? It warns the members that you've got ideas and if they want to have a say, they can either PM or make a thead. Then the leader would say "we shall trial it" rather than have it immediate and permanent. If people disaree after the trial, see what others think.

If the forum listened to it's users then the forum would be a better place for all of us - after all, without the users, there's no community, and a forum is a community - a community that needs to work together to make the place better for all of us.

Permenant banning people for voicing their opinion isn't the way to go about, nor is banning someone for complaining [although some people, yes, because they just complain for the hell of it] as some complaints can make the forum community better [if taken forward].

This forum (no offence) needs to listen to it's members opinions. If you didn't have us, what would you mange? Nothing or noone. I think you ought to start listening to users opinions, instead of hiding in your admin section discussing and probably ******** about other users. There should be an open forum where all users can post their opinions on what we want, because if we all get what we want, and the majority agree, more members will come to the forum and the forum will work alot more peacefully and well. I agree in the majority of the posts, and to be honest nearly all posts they you shoud listen to our opinions. The good way that the opinions plan will work is because when someone suggests an idea, the rest of the forum can reply either agreeing or disagreeing, and if the majority agree then it must be a good idea, as I know aswell as you know there are some very smart users on here who have some great ideas that they can share with the forum. Perm banning users for voiceing their opinions IS the coward way out and it makes you look soft and weak because you can't handle the fact other people are voicing their opinons over yours. If the forum continues to run the way it is I think you will lose even more members and the forum will eventually die down and noone will use it, (talking few years, but still). People love this forum and come on as the users post good posts from habbo to runescape to flight simulator, but when the forum is running the way they like, they get put off and decide to stop coming on. When I was banned on Elliott, permanantly - You took the cowardly way out because you didn't like the fact that I was voicing my opinion, so you decided to ban, the reason I cannot state but is fairly obvious. Stating my opinion is not rule breaking.

If you got frustrated why would you need to spam? It is just going to make management ignore you because you would act like an immature little spammer. Perm Banning for a complaint happens on other forums I can garantuee you. Name one succecful Habbo forum (Apart from HxF atm) who doesnt punish/ban members who causing a rucus with loads of complaints. As I said above if they hate it much then they wont want to stick around.

And to be clear, we will never ban people because they make a sensible complaint about something, and for the rest use the forum normally. Only the members that are continuously looking for trouble and only use this forum to complain or be rude to management will be banned faster.

If all the members who had flaws with Habbox left instead of complained/put their point across, you'd have a community of about 3 members.

For once, you should listen to the members of the community because they make it so.

Then you clearly didn't read Mentors post... People complain about how Habbox is run becuase they like it (or used to like it in some cases).

The part of this that agree with, is that we do need a general manager who listens to the members. The customer is always right, and it will only work, if the forum does the best for its members, and does what its members want.

Just out of interest what is it that the "customer" in general wants doing that the management are ignoring or have not justified their reasons for the idea not being worth while. I can't see any ideas that have not be answered or listen to by the management, if there is any I'd like you to point them out because in some respects I'm finding it hard to see where people are being ignored. In terms of the reputation issue management have listen, responded and changed the system to a more suitable setting and I don't see where they are not listening in all honestly. I would like to see things that are not being listened too or management has not replied too. People who post maturely and with constructive complains are always listened too. Those who are rude or break forum rules as a way to "rebel" or "state their opinions" will simply be punished.
