What a ****.
He looks alot more miserable with the dude in the car.
haha what a complete idiot. glad hes been banned!
The collegue wasn't driving though was he? Im sure the other cop hasn't been banned.
Fact of the matter is, we dont know what sort of road it is It could be road with curves, Zebra Crossings etc. An animal could of been in the road, which at the speed he was going could of probably crashed. If you're allowed on the road, you should drive safety and responsible and that includes keeping your hands on the wheel at all times. The fact he didn't have his hands on the wheel is an offence in itself.
You're more likely to crash in the early hours of the morning due to lower visibility and tiredness. It's basically like being tipsy while driving, so he should of been banned. The risk is if there was a slightly large stone of the road and his wheel hit it, he would of lost control instantly. As hitting a stone with your hands on the wheel you don't notice but you run over a stone without holding the steering wheel then the car will turn. The fact he is also in a 30mph (I think) he shouldn't even be going them speeds - it's only because he's a "trained" Police officer that he is allowed to do so. So if he takes his hands off the wheel that means all the training has been wasted on a muppet.
The only time you should really be paying full attention to the road is when you're driving in snow. You seem like the kind of person I would be stuck behiend on the highway doing below the speed limit and constantly using your brakes. As for the zebra lines, most people use them to pass another slow moving car and for the animal in the road, you use your feet to brake not your hands and I guess if you can't brake fast enough the animal is sol.
No, I'd stick to the speed limiting, knowing in my mind that if I do have an accident, the result is not going to be as bad as me driving at 70 in a 40 zone.
If he and you wants to speed, act a fool on the road and risk the lifes of yourself, your passengers, other drivers and pedestrians, all I can say is have a nice death.
Takes longer than a milisecond to loose control of a car , n hitting a stone in the road will not send you veering off into a burning fireball , my hunch is that most people on here who are glad he was banned , are people that have never driven a car , so they wouldnt know what its like to take your hands off the wheel ;)
serves him right
