If you've had sex recently then it could be an infection or desiese.
Check on the top of the head that theres nothing on top of it, like a lump/bump or anything that looks irregular.
It could just be an infection, just to be safe though.

I doubt the doctor will even have to look if you just explain the problem. But if they do, they've done it a thousand times before, and they think nothing of it- so you shouldn't.
Go to the doctors and explain the problem as fully as you can, with every little detail eg. the type of pain (throb, shooting etc), when it started, and anything else they ask!

it could be that you're not drinking enough fluids in the day and the bladder could be producing toxins, you should drink atleast 8 (i think) pints of water a day, good luck!
