Many people like to have a little say when people resign from their jobs, just to show their admiration and stuff? It's happened alot with big names in the past, and i pretty much guess it will always happen on such a big forum :)

But that doesn't change that they are still going to be on the forum so they could just as easily say something about the person leaving the job.. not just "Goodbye :( You will be missed."
But that's just me.
