I WORKED IT OUT!
this version is alot superior now I have had time to play with it, the GPU now does most of the image rendering meaning it's alot quicker |: and jeez it is.

Yeh, I saw this on digg. The main update now for CS4 is that it uses your GPU and any Physics card such as a Phys X card to assist the program and do the rendering. Should provide an enormous speed increase.

So now people with crap GFX Cards will be stuffed? :p

I think i'll stick to cs3. Can't be bothered to update when I don't actually need the new features.

Where did you get a copy?

CS4 is the 64-bit version of CS3, there's no point getting it unless you need it on your 64-bit Vista/XP.
