The great thing about being a webdesigner / webdeveloper is to come up with your own unique ideas...

You shouldn't be asking for ideas, you should create your own, then build it & then ask for contstructive critisism

That's true, although it's fair too ask for features and such or ways to improve, which you've already said :)

True though keep in mind asking 'features' is a whole other thing then asking for a complete site theme/subject.
