rolling stone gave it a rare perfect score, and i pretty much always agree with their film reviews. and otherwise i haven't seen a single bad review yet. my parents saw it and said it was very good, i'll probably be seeing it soon.
what a lot of the reviews said was that while it does have some kid attributes to it, the message of the whole film will go way over their heads, even a lot of parents didn't get it.

Well I was utterly disappointed with this movie. I had insanely high expectations for the movie due to the fact it literally got no bad reviews, RT has it as 97% which is insane. The animation is fantastic, the story is nice, it's a very cute film, but it's too slow in general. It's definitely worth the price of admission and is a good movie, but it's hardly the classic it's made out to be.. Cars, Finding Nemo etc. are all Pixar movies that are better than it, I honestly don't see why Wall-E got such amazing reviews, besides the animation, nothing else is 'outstanding' about the movie.

i haven't seen the movie yet but i know it has to be good the way people r talking about it
-
some people who I work with have seen it and said that it is really good.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was a great movie, the detail was great, it had some comical bits in it too. It's a great family film!
-
I liked it a bit slow at the start but it picked up speed to be a great summer blockbuster

looks like another crappy animated film.
whatever happened to the days when disney actually made good ones like toy story & little mermaid? :P

Well, I think it's because you've grown older that you see animated features in different lights. Although they have universal content and a garnish of adult humour, modern animated flicks are, of course, primarily for kids, so I'm sure that the younger generation of today enjoys them as much as you enjoyed Toy Story and The Little Mermaid. I can't speak for myself though, as I've never had a thing for animation or anything remotely childish - my innocence for sugarcoated dreamscapes probably shattered when I watched Hellraiser from start-to-finish at 4 years old and loved every second of it, but that's just me.

I'm going to see it to see what all the fuss is about.
I must admit the trailer looks good. :)
