I didnt watch the opening but I quite enjoyed the closing ceremony :)
the opening was far better than the closing performances. I could tell some sort of tower would come up because of how the platform was built

I'm really looking forward to London 2012, but I have to say I personally wasn't that impressed with our segment there. It was alright, but nothing spectacular.
Boris looked like an idiot there, strolling up with his hands in his pockets and then shaking them about like a madman. Good thing he didn't get to speak :rolleyes:
Ah well, the 2012 party looks pretty good.
The countdown looked fake to begin with but then didn't... It is possible to make them fireworks though and the ones they faked on the opening.Quote:
