Major Nelson buried that '25th' rumor on his podcast 2 weeks ago with Mark Whitten and himself, for those who dont know they are the bigwigs in XBL.
To be honest, it is quite similar. The things are even called Channels (He said "go to the My Xbox channel")

Its something I'm looking forward to, i find the dashboard at the moment a bit old. Want something fresh and modern like this :P
Looks cool, although very Nintendoish.
I dunno, the new dash looks cool but this just looks like an extra feature that I just cant see myself liking, no matter how many hours I'll spend trying to make it look like me.
