Because people who don't want to pay 59p-£1.99 (which is the price it would be if it did cost) are pretty cheap :S If it's the only app he's going to buy and he's going to get lots of use out of it, it doesn't matter whether it costs or not.

There are two ways of viewing MySpace on the Touch=
-going to www.myspace.com on the Safari browser
-going to the App Store and downloading the MySpace app from there. It is free and very easy to use.
