The management don't give a damn what we think.
I have been a member of Habbox since 2005 and have never ever read any of its articles so I have chosen not to 'speak out' with you :)
Some of the articles were wicked, especially ostinato teen life articles. I think Alex tried to revive them but there was a lack of interest, good decision to discontinue it when nobody actually read them really lol.
As a previous staff member of the articles department, I can say that it was probably for the best. Ideas to revamp the department, such as video reviews, never really took off. I've worked for many sites and there was one where I was Articles Manager (HabboNation - was official CA site at one point so it wasn't unpopular). Articles were removed there too because the truth is, not many people are interested in articles anymore.
However, I do believe that Professor-Alex is now something called the 'Submissions Manager' and you can submit articles to him via PM. This is just a 'branch' of the content department.
On a lighter note, I think you should start writing more speeches. Very inspiring.
The departments that were gotten rid of weren't popular anymore which is why it happened.
The Management do whats in habbox's best interests.
They are obviously doing it for the best and I can see that, they aren't going to come along and ruin the forum that they run are they? I think nvr would have to be a little mad, the reason the articles department failed was because no one in the that department could really be bothered you got the odd one or two people who could, when I worked that early on in the year you had a Senior Writer who was dedicated and maybe 2/3 writers out of 6/7 so you see where I am coming from?
I think that all the department, staff and forum changes happening are for the best and management are starting to listen to what is going on around them and what is being suggested, like it should be, in my opinion over the last 6 months Habbox has improved massively and in my eyes its mainly down to nvrspk getting on with it and actually making changes and improving the site. Lets not forgot all the other AGMs and Mr.OSH who have a lot to do with this as well. Like I said, management is at its best at the moment in my opinion.
Over and out ;)
