There's two types. When I went in he said your under 18 arn't you and I said yes and he clicked that option.

Paying money irl for Habbo isn't 'sad' or 'pointless' it's a consumerist choice.
I'd argue that make-up and branded clothing is pointless, yet people spend ridiculous amounts on it to feel like a superstar or look/feel important.
We all pay money for the internet, is that tangable? No.
The way I see it, spending money on Habbo say 10-15 a month if it's your own money and you can afford it is perfectly reasonable. Atleast you have something to show for it, granted via pixels. A habbit like smoking costs a lot more, what does that get you?

you don't have to be 18. I bought the black laser deal 2 years ago and I was 13.
