last.fm wasn't really made for listening to music though.. it was made for people to keep a track of their listening history and compare with friends other people.
it also has a very very very good recommendation system.

so yeh youtube is better for listening, but last.fm is far far superior in what it does best.

Yeah I just use it to sort of keep a personal record (or I will do once I get a new laptop and iTunes back on track)
