£42,000 in benefits a year AND drive a Mercedes!!!

To be honest, labour had there chances, anyone voting for them becasue they think they gonna change is funny.

If I was getting 42 grand per year for free, I'd be driving better than a Merc.

This. My mum has two children and a job and we've never been on holiday outside the UK and Ireland.

Why did it take 13 years and a possible election defeat looming for Labour to promise this?
How can I or anybody else believe them when they broke their 2005 manifesto pledge of a referendum on EU reformal?

Swearing always gets your point more across.

Quit whining, all of you, and stop being so personally incisive. Stop being so personally insulting. Political debates can sometimes lead to just plain "My party is bigger than yours." in a sense, but it just appears to me they ALWAYS lead to this on this forum. Undertaker and Jordy always talk fairly well together, and the debates between Undertaker and Alex are something out of a televised debate or a dance-off with political commentary.

I 'lurk' here way too often, and all I see is arguments and not debates about current affairs.
