Naughtynemo why are you reformatting when you don't need to what so ever lmao? You're going to lose everything you've got at the moment and have to re-install all because of a Trojan Horse... it's not affecting you at all at the moment if you've got antivirus...

its manipulated registry programs. it could be in the pc's system right now and the firewall could of casually ignored it as a registry update or something tedious like that, you can not guarantee that its safe. although with a clean install you can be sure your pc is safe thanks :)
It could be, but I'm 99.99% positive it's cleared now and there is no such need for such a drastic reformat. Most AV's have deep root analysis that even checks registry entries. Up to him/her what they do but it's really not necessary, just saving them time really.
Better safe than sorry, just depends how good your AV is, :)
