Iv been offered a job monday to friday, 6am - 2pm at £9 an hour and im only just about to turn 18. Thats £315 a week which is alot of money for 7 hours a day at my age.
I need to make quick cash in 2 month so i might do it, i mean i doubt anyone i know will see me so hey why not, a job is a job.
I got offered this job yesterday by reed, so they are quite good recruitment place as i only signed up 3 days ago.
I had one of these jobs for a month while the main bin-man was out sick. Anyway, it paid really well, but it was really, really hot wearing longsleeves, gloves, sunglasses, a hat, a mask, and a scarf.
I really loved the job though because of all the free time.
Too right i would. Its not as bad as everyone makes out its good pay you start early mornin an finish like late afternoon. Get the night off brilliant
I'd do it, yes. It's good money. Bet you didn't know what there is a waiting list to apply to be a bin-man. That's how popular the job is. Good money for a messy job.
not by choice, no, i hate dirt.
they earn more than a policeman in some cases.
I personally wouldn't do it - I'd have to wash my hands in between each bin :P but I can see why someone would opt to do it.
Arguably the best rugby player for the team I support does the bins throughout the week. It builds up your muscles and you're always walking about on your feet - probably the best job for someone in sport.
thats more than i get payed at the supermarket i work for and i have to empty bins every night anyway :D
and mathew what rugby team is that?
Batley Bulldogs - they aren't in the Superleague so it's highly unlikely anyone has heard of 'em :P
