Oh here we go yet again on the media issue instead of actually debating the real issue which the paper highlights. This is the problem with Labour supporters/left wingers - you dont like the fact that people/newspapers dont actually agree with you and you cant seem to be able to accept that fact. What real issue? The kid wrote some stupid stuff. No worse than some racist stuff written in my park. Using the n-word. Refer back to me when a white racist gets this sort of coverage. The Sun is famous for swapping to the winning team, and the Daily Mail has always been tripe. This has never concerned me. Like I said, I used to read the Daily Mail. I love you're calling me biased. I don't even have a party. It's true, my ideals probably lie in left-wing, but I do not blindly follow where Brown or Clegg goes. I don't have a party. It's clear that you are the biased one. Signatures, campaigning, using a right-wing paper... To be fair, I'm up against it.

It's a fair point that uncontrolled immigration is damaging, though, the ill-feelings between the English and said immigrants is not thanks to a deep-rooted and personal hatred of one another, but of chinese whispers. It's not exactly like we are a labour powerhouse of the world. A pole took your job washing dishes? Then go to college, learn a trade, get qualifications. I truly believe in a happy, pansy world where we can live together if we thought for ourselves for once. If we weren't told immigrants will make us run out of air or whatever tripe there'd be no problem. I do, though, realise this will never happen. Media will always be bias, hell I have bias.

I will repeat what I said very clearly, the media and the majority of the British public support immigration if it is controlled and managed properly which is far from the system we have at the moment in this country. To blame this hatred on the media is wrong because its not hatred (at the moment at least) - we just want somebody to listen for once and put some sort of decent control back on immigration. Uncontrolled immigration is the biggest social ill facing this country and it'd be downright wrong of the papers to censor and not cover this - its in our interest and its our concern so deal with it.

Newspapers are bought because people like what they say and they want to read a paper which fits their beliefs, hence why the right wing papers such as the Daily Mail, the Sun, the Telegraph and various others outperform the Guardian with the only good selling left wing newspaper being the Daily Mirror - and while the Daily Mail may be biased as with everything as you state, the Daily Mail at least moves around a bit whereas the Daily Mirror would support the Labour Party even if the country was totally ablaze.

Well it hasn't spiralled out of control as there haven't been riots on the streets. It's an old cliche that people with views like yours wheel out to make a point and it is of no relevence at all. The Labour Government hasn't been disastrous at all as far as I am concerned unless you are suggesting they could have stopped a global recesssion on their own and they have coped remarkably well with this one. Latest figures show that Manufactoring and Exports are the highest they have been in 15 years.

It hasn't spiralled out of control!?

We have just under one million people here who are here illegally - that has spiralled out of control and unless you stop this madness then it will decend into violence and hatred. The Labour government concerning the economy has been disasterous, you say its a global disaster then it surely was also a global boom at home also so in reality, they did very little except sell our gold stocks at a fraction of the price of their value and they removed powers from the Bank of England to the tick-box bureaucrats at the FSI - boom and bust happens and is a good thing if you look at long term economics (not the mention the fact it is essential) however do not try and pull the wool over our eyes.

No. The media causes hatred. Without an incendary flame, what is a pile of wood? Yeah, issues are piling up, but its sensationalist media such as this that strikes the match. There is only hatred because we are told to hate them. I know why they do it though. If a paper came out and said "You know what, immigration isn't so bad" then they wouldn't sell. Tug at the heartstrings, use emotive language to get people wound up and hey-ho. You have people buying your paper then saying to friends "Do you know what I read in the Daily Mail? Immigrants give us cancer!"

I live in a city where it's 50% whites, 50% ethnic minorities. Most are Asians. My friend is an Asian. Now, I can see for myself and do not need the Daily Mail or any other paper or site to tell me what's going on.

Well that is a load of scaremongering with nothing to back it up at all apart from your Enoch Powell speech of 42 years ago. Just because you think it does not mean it is going to happen and it hasn't even at the peak when Poland and Rumania joined the EU and did flood in.

Scrappage allowance on cars that has lifted the car industry out of recession
10 years of sustained growth in our economy
Winter Fuel Allowance
Pensions linked to earnings
Pension Credit
Raising of stamp duty thresholds
Cut VAT for a period of time to stimulate economy. Remember it was the Tory government who raised it from 8% to 15% but in that case you say it was imperative for them to do it then because the economy was in a state and then want to cut taxes now when it would be the worst time possible.
