It's always been like that, a lot of people have always used our forums just to read news/gossip etc - not everyone has to sign up, if they want to sign up and post, they will :) A proportion of guests are spiders from search engines too.

A general rise over the summer/christmas period is expected as the stats (especially hxf ones) show. What would be more interesting is to see how the stats compare over the last 5 years or so. None the less, a promising sign of improvement. Well done to all those involved :).
Hate to pick on HxL but those December stats are shocking :O
Not HxL's fault mind, but can't believe they are as low as they are.
Good, I think habbo has also seen more users recently too, which in turn helped it's fansites.
Generally right, but it's interesting that activity spikes in August, I think it's the Summer Spectacular effect as the July > August rise is shown on both Habbox and HabboxForum, and the Habbox.com graph suggests that there's more holdover for regular users. It's also notable that after the spike, even though numbers go back down, they're higher than they were before which suggests long-term holdover and overall rise in hits.
Would be really interesting to see a 2-3 year graph, would be far more conclusive than assumptions based on a one year but we do with what we have. I believe the Awstats could provide a multiyear graph though.
I am not going to talk about the site or radio stats as I don't know enough about them but as far as the forum is concerned I have done a little research.
Whilst it interesting I am not sure how relevant the position was 2/3 or even 5years ago as there has been massive changes with Habbo which has undergone it's own recession cutting exercise with the merge. Whilst they used to have a handful of official fansites they have a long list now who are no longer called 'official'.

The market is extremely competitive with 17 fansites on the list so it not an easy task to get them to come to Habbox. Compared with the stats of the other comparable sites, which I believe, is a better measure of it's current popularity it looks to me that we are more than holding our own.Quote:
Since we are moving away from having a small list of Official Fansites, towards a long list of Fansites, we will no longer be able to endorse Fansites with articles and prizes.

Obviously there is always room for improvement but there does seem to be a genuine steady progression. There will always be peaks at holiday times. From a non analytical what has stood out for me in recent times is the rise in international members. Well done all involved is what I say! :D
