No you weren't, hes just gone :(
Sorry to hear that Ben. I got Thomas when I was 4 so he's 13 this year.. I've pretty much grown up with him and I'm seriously gonna cry my brains out when he leaves us. His brother, Percy, died when I was about 8 and that's probably the most I've ever cried too (exluding Grandparents).
:'(:'(
I'm trying to hold it in, but I didn't realise how bad it would be.
It is a terrible feeling knowing that the adorable pet you're used to seeing bright and jolley every morning to greet you when you wake up will no longer be there. It's hard, but it's life - as depressing as that sounds. Life goes on and now you have to remember the memories you have shared and do your best to move on without it getting the best of you.
ino I cried more over my rabbit dying than my nan dying
Yes, when i was 7 we had to put down my cat billy, im not too sure why but it was terrible as my mum had him for all my life and i grew up with him :( But 10 years is a good age for a cat and atleast they dotn have to suffer any longer :) x
Sorry to hear about your cat :(
Thats life I suppose.
As others have said; at least you know it was better for him to be put down that to suffer; and you will always know that he had a great life and that you did your best for him :)
