he said there's 8 answers so i assumed that was 8 words in both strings gosh im confused but from the first string I got the words generate and decode so either of them could be in the sentence I GIVE UP
How about 8 answers about users on the forum? That'd explain the usernames we can find from the anagram, possibly 8 questions on each?

Further thinking, could the first string be something to do with staff as it says once first string is decoded the rest should be simple? And as somebody pointed out 5 x's could go towards xxMATTGxx...
