I can't see the need for this.

Instead of events run by elite users, how about featuring fansite events somehow?

I think it'd be bad for fansites, as people would just go to the events hosted by the Habbo events dept because of the badges and less people would go to fansite events such as Habbox. Featuring fansite events sounds like a much better idea tbh.
