I don't think she's entirely wrong. I certainly think it highlights middle class social capital and how they use subtle techniques to give their children the best advantage because they know the system inside out. Despite that, don't think you can judge a child for it. I think she was saying that sometimes you can guess from a name if it's popular in certain groups their type of background - so more judging the parents - but after that, it's making assumptions because a child doesn't necessarily have to conform to their background. That whole middle class parents asking where they're from thing sounds familiar, there definitely is competition between parents but saying child x shouldn't play with child y is taking it too far.

watched it twice and just couldn't believe what she was saying, good on holly for finally shutting her up as it had gone too far. her children are going to miss out on meeting some great people, no doubt about that. also watched her on her tattoo issues and whilst i agreed that some employees won't hire people because of their various tattoos, she just seems to throw out her opinions in such a rude way.
