It's vile and they're probably gonna influence other people cause they think smoking looks cool and they have to start taking up this habit in order to fit in with their friends and needless to say, it's dangerous and would be linked to health issues and it'd be difficult to attempt to quit this habit
but i don't really care tho as long as they don't blow it in my face
At the end of the day it's their choice. However, it is annoying when smoke blows into your face but adults can do it too, it's not really fair to pinpoint teens, it depends on what way the wind is blowing I guess.
Doesn't bother me unless the smoke is blowing to me. Let them kill themselves, doesn't bother me |-)
Only a couple people in my school smoke though so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me? Though the above applies to adults smoking too.
as a teen and adult smoker I see nothing wrong with it.
I hate when you're in public like at a bus stop and a random person next to you starts smoking and then the smoke is blowing in to your face :(.
Imo, it's their life, if they want to screw it up, that's on them.
Providing they don't try to get me involved or smoke around me, I'm good.
Woah, this is actually annoying me a little.
You say you don't like 'teen smokers' because they're the ones that 'blow it in your face'. I'm sure that's not because they're teens... and do you mean purposely blew it into your face or you walked past and the smoke went into your face? there's a difference.
everyone slating teen smokers... smoking doesn't 'screw up' your life, it doesn't make you a bad person and to be quite frank, it's absolutely none of your business is someone smokes out of their parents car or their parents buy them the cigarettes.
A lot of parents buy their 'children' cigarettes because (especially if they also smoke) they'll end up stealing them off their parents, buying them off other 'kids' in the playground or getting random strangers to buy them.
I agree, it doesn't look good for a teen/ child of 11/12 to be smoking, I think that's vile, they don't know the dangers of it and don't fully understand what addiction can do. 14/15 isn't much better but at that age it's talked about so much in school, they have a more clear understanding of what cigarettes are and can make that decision. It's not pleasant to see people of such young ages smoking but it's their choice at the end of the day. I smoked when I was 15, I didn't flaunt it and not many people knew I did. luckily, I didn't get addicted and it was literally a Friday / Saturday night thing.
It really does anger me with how judgmental you all seem to be on the subject of smoking. Unless they're around you, which I understand it's not nice, it has NOTHING to do with anyone but the smoker themselves.
The original post was very cringeworthy.
Whenever I was in high school kids would always smoke in the bathrooms/courtyard. It was mad annoying, however I only think majority of teen smokers start smoking because they think it's cool or w/e . No ones ever blown smoke in my face though, how rude!
