*gets my shift key out*
•Do you listen to habboxlive?
No
•Do you listen to other habbo radio stations?
No
•What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
Not sure as I don't listen to enough, but I'd imagine at the moment they might have more interactive djs, and a larger audience couldn't hurt.
•Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy?
Yeah I think so, though I'd be more likely to tune into shows where I might be involved in, e.g. like Beth's single review thing where forum members would listen to songs prior and send in their reviews. I usually tune in when a friend is DJing.
•If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
Would like to see some sort of "introducing" show, I mainly listen to alternative and pop, however I know I'm in the minority so don't really expect it. Most of Habbox currently is an older generation so I imagine they'll find more enjoyment out of mid 00s nostalgia than just repeating the current top 40.
•If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
I don't know the inner workings much, but I'd try to get djs to expand their library, update them regularly on things like the radio one/capital fm playlists, see which songs they think are going to blow up and would push for djs to put effort in diversing and preparing their shows.
•Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes?
I might, but I imagine a lot of the time its smaller, regular prizes rather than saying having a specific time slot each week for a huge competition/giveaway. I never know when these giveaways happen anyway, so might be good to set up some consistancy or hype.
•Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc)
No.
•What does habboxlive lack in?
New Habbos are more likely to go elsewhere unless theres a ongoing competition, and since Habbox has an older fanbase I can't see them being interested in the same repetitive shows.
Do you listen to habboxlive?
No, but I have a couple of times for whatever reason
Do you listen to other habbo radio stations?
No
What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
I don't listen to them but I assume that they have a lot more community interaction and talking (they may have better prizes too). HabboxLive currently lacks that and instead insists on playing continuous music (and if that isn't bad enough, the majority of music played on there is crap in my opinion). Even some seniors+ do this.
Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy?
Yes but not often
If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
Blues, gospel, folk, country, rock and roll and many old classics which may or may not be under those genres. The listed genres don't have to have their own personal show, there could be a mix between two or whatever.
If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change
Firstly I'd get rid of the ban on only playing one song by one artist per hour, but of course the DJs should not go overboard playing tens of songs by the same artist.
There would be lots of new weekly shows or bi-weekly shows, mainly based upon genre but there are other endless possibilities not including genre
Perhaps a show that's more to do with talking and community interaction than the songs themselves. I'm sure I remember hearing something about a weekly debate or discussion show that was going to happen, maybe something similar? I'm not sure if it exists or not, but if not it is perhaps something @-:Undertaker:-; could talk about with the HxL manager and even get different DJs or members to join in on debates or discussions.
I also agree with everything that Richie said, I'm not going to bother writing up my own version of what he said though :P
Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes?
Yes I would
Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc)
I definitely would but it obviously depends on what they are
What does habboxlive lack in?
Community interaction (on both habbo & habbox), actually talking while djing, good competitions/prizes, having an actual personality or entertainment value in shows. Plus anything else I've said above such as weekly shows.
I would be up for that, I was intending to do radio for Rare Values/apply for HxL staff at some point anyway so that's certainly something that could be included.Quote:

Nope
What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
Listeners they have really dropped although I can't really comment since the last time I listened to HabboxLive was like last year
Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? [Yes / No]
Yes
If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
Rock/Metal :)
If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
Make sure the same damn music doesn't get repeated next hour
Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes? [Yes / No]
No, don't really have an intrest in playing Habbo these days
Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) [Yes / No]
Yes
What does habboxlive lack in?
They play the same stuff over and over and I'd like to see more genres rather than the same pop stuff every hour
@Richie; weren't u a manager before return NOW
Do you listen to habboxlive?
honstly, no. from all the fansites i supported (habboquests before, habbox), i would say i havent even tried to listen to the radio. the most i would go is to leave the site open in a tab and just leave it there, just to kinda let the site gain one more listener. but since i use hxforum more, i forget abt tuning in to habboxlive.
i would only tune in properly ONLY when a dj go and advertise themselves. only if they are a friend, or someone frm habbox, then i would tune in as if they bother to advertise, to push for listeners, why wouldnt i bother tune in too? also it tells me hey, someone/the fansite i like has someone djing atm.
Do you listen to other habbo radio stations?
i listen to hffm as one of my friends work there. no i do not do it automatically but only tune in when my friend sends pm's etc. its all about advertisements.
dj's advertise, sell yourselves.
What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
we need more interesting events, like marathons or fundraising, imo
Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? [Yes / No]
ill listen to any radio as long as its worth listening to :P
If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
i would build a super duper awesome large 'party room' and pile all the dj's onto thr :D
Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes?
definitely!
Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc)
its a nice attempt but thrs lots of convenience since thr is usually an international audience? sticking to habbo would be best. :P
What does habboxlive lack in?
DJ'S ADVERTISING.
•Do you listen to habboxlive?
Yeah, sometimes.
•Do you listen to other habbo radio stations?
Yeah, I do, but only because I know some people that DJ on other radio stations.
•What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
Seems to be a bit more passionate DJ's
•Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy?
Nahh. Just like irl, can't control what they play and what they don't ( of course there are the req. line, but..)
•If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
•If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
I would change how much people stream. Everytime I tune in someone seems to be streaming. Gets a bit boring. I understand once in a while when no one is available to talk or when no one is available to DJ, but this is quite often.
•Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes?
Ehh, I think they give pretty decent prizes anyway.
•Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) [Yes / No]
Well, YEAH!! Free stuff! Woop woop!
•What does habboxlive lack in?
Habboxlive lacks in DJ's that are passionate about their jobs, advertising their department other places, enthusiasm, and we lack at doing a good job at representing habbo. If we have DJ's that sound SO bored and SO angry and sounding like they don't want to be there at all, and don't interact anywhere in habbo other than the radio station, how are we representing habbo? If someone new comes across habbox and tunes in for a bit and listens to the DJ's that just mumble and babble on about nothing on air, They're probably going to tune out. I love habbox, I know Habboxlive DJ's do too, so show it! Yeah, of course, sometimes there is only like 1 or 2 people that are on air, but Habbox is a pretty old fansite. Of course things will slow down. But, we might just need to figure out WHY it's slowed down SO much. If we figure out that, maybe we'll be able to fix the problem and get Habbox up and running again and popular.
- Do you listen to habboxlive? Very Rarely, so I guess I should put No.
- Do you listen to other habbo radio stations? No
- What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have? Definitely an active audience that is consistent
- Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? Yeah sometimes
- If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear? iTunes countdowns (they might be done already I'm not sure)
- If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change? The rules so that it's more fun for Djs
- Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes? No
- Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) Depends on the DJ (without sounding mean). Prizes don't really bother me to be honest, if I like the DJ and their Music I'll tune in regardless.
- What does habboxlive lack in? - Community interaction/Events, international DJ numbers and planning & preparation skills for big events (Like the Valentines Ball seemed to be created very last minute with very little advertising)
