Replying to this a week after you posted it but if you've not already applied, I'd say they close a few days before it starts just so everything can be planned/everyone contacted etc. You should still have time left. Kardan will probably reply once he's back from holiday anyway ;)

Back from Alaskan cruise, was good - still have 2 weeks in NW US before Mole starts so applications are open for 2 more weeks. Only got 3 spaces left so apply soon if you're interested and if you get randomly selected as the Mole you always have the chance to decline first - that happened in Mole 1.

Applications will close midnight August 7th, contestants will then be PM'ed confirmation that they're playing.

Oh my. August 7th can't come soon enough!
