For me I think the reason ukip didn't get as many votes is a lot of people where put of by the many claims it was a racist party. People may have believed in ukips ideas but not liked the image the media painted.
I haven't read into the new Labour leaders background or his ideas but he looks like a far better party leader and importantly image than his predecessor. I find labour lost the election because it turned from a party for the people into the opposite and if the new leader reverts the party I see good things.
The attack on ed milliband by the rupert murdoch controlled media was disgusting.
I haven't really followed the race. Read very briefly about what Corbyn stands for. Anyone who suggests a Maximum Wage is an idiot. The other labour leadership candidates would never have won an election. This guy... well seems like an idiot. Some ideas of his I like but a maximum wage... is he serious?
What I hate about politicians is they are selfish little *ahem*. They ask all government employees to make cuts, have pay freeze but yet do not mind when it is recommended to them that their salaries be increased. Then they have the audacity to justify it as "we need to be paid well to be interested in our jobs" ... well if you need money as a motivation to do your job which is to help the country then please resign. You are a public servant and your job is to serve the people. If you are not motivated by improving the country and only by money then LEAVE.
Bit off topic there but I detest most MPs with a passion.
He wants to tax the rich more? Oh because 50% tax isn't enough? Punish the rich for earning more. Punish people for working hard and having a high salary. And give to some idiots who genuinely do not try and find jobs.
He's [Corbyn] under fire now for not singing the national anthem at a Veterens memorial service in St Paul's Cathedral.
At least the guy is honest that he doesn't like this country, you can't say the same for the rest of the two-faced Labour Party.
4god British Republicans are such whiny pissbabies can't we put them in the tower
Ummmmmmm I think you'll find I have been defending Corbyn for his honesty.
It's true he doesn't like this country, but again at least he's honest that he supports the aims of the IRA, doesn't want us to have an armed forces, doesn't want us to have nuclear weapons to defend ourselves, doesn't want controlled borders and would do away with a thousand years of monarchy. He says all that clearly.
First of all not wanting to be ruled over by the higher class and worship them as some sort of gods isnt hating britain wanting to get rid of nuclear weapons which could END THE WORLD and because he supports a peaceful solution doesnt mean he hates Britain.
That is one of the bigger ignorant comments i've seen you make wanting ireland to be united as a whole doesnt meant he hates britain.
Hating britain would be like not paying the right tax and storing your money in foreign bank accounts like rupert murdoch and nigel farage have done in the past.
Oh and by the way open borders is both a right wing and a left wing idea due to the huge economic benefits.
If he hated britain he wouldnt be defending the thousands of people left homeless and the disabled people treated like second class citizens by the tory party.
I forgot to mention how Mr Corbyn also wants to hand over the Falkland Islands to Argentina.
Monarchy is an integral part of Britain and the British constitution and has been for a thousand years.
Well actually, it does. Mr Corbyn and his left-wing supporters will often rail against American influence and power over our foreign affairs, something I don't agree with either, but will then go on to suggest to abolition of our independent nuclear deterrent which would tie us closer to US foreign policy and have us under the US nuclear umbrella. You cannot have your cake and eat it, it is one or the other.Quote:

Why would you believe in handing over Northern Ireland and the British people living there to the Irish Republic against their wishes? :SQuote:
