No one's listening.
That is one of 3 reasons why people support teams - because they're good. 85% of people aren't going to be willing to go and watch their team, at £20 a week, lose and lose and lose are they?

No, it's common sense.
Why do you think Manchester United have a fan base of over 330million people? It sure as hell isn't because everyone comes from Manchester. It's because they're good.
A glory supporter is someone who changes teams to those that are winning everything, never goes to a game and ***** off lower teams - amongst other criteria.
Well how can u support man u and be a glory hunter
Anyway im from South and support liverpool because they play passionate football and i have connections there
and i dont support local team (Brighton) cause there rubbish.
I always thaught glory hunting was always supporting the team that are doing the best. like changing who you support when a different team goes top of the league or something?
Thats glory hunting in my mind, changing teams because their winning i don't see the point. you could argue that it would make going to matches better because a win is always good but it takes away the meaning of being a loyal fan.
I don't think you need to live somewhere to support the team as the team you support is a preference. Also supporting a team you live nowhere near could start with family living near that team then generations of the family move to different places.
He's a true arsenal fan greco is, even if Chelsea win it next year he will still support the gunners
i dunno really, i would have to buy their kit again and everything
suppose if they are the prem champions i would support them till there is a new winner
well i cant really support man u but my granddad used to live there so i suppose i could without bein called a glory hunter!
LOL GRECO IS A LEGEND
WHAT A LOYAL SUPPORTER

Quote:
A glory hunter is a term used towards people who are, or who are suspect to, supporting a particular football club due to its size, quality and/or popularity in the media. Glory hunters usually live outside the town where a particular team is from, and may, in fact, live in a different country altogether.
Quote:
A second generation glory hunter is a term used towards people who are, or who are suspect to, supporting a succesful football club although having no obvious affiliation with the team and giving their reason for supporting such team as it also being their fathers chosen team. Second generation glory hunters usually live outside the town where a particular team is from, and may, in fact, live in a different country altogether.
from wiki, with love.
So you're saying that if I choose to support Vauxhall Motors [which, unknown to many, are my 3rd team :P] I'm a glory supporter?
:D
66 percent of tenagers support man utd, chelsea, liverpool or arsenal. COnsidering how many other clubs there actually are it amkes the portion of supporters thre days supporting there home team very small. However, if ur family hav supportesd a team for years wots the problem? if u hav never supported a team and u staert to suppotr a teasm cos they are winning fine. cos at sum point they re goin to stop winning and only when people then change allegiance to a better club is when u can say they are glory hunters :D
