It's really awful.
The font used is tacky and 'standard'. The layout is plain and boring, there's nothing special. The 'official' badge is slightly blurred, almost as though it has been enlarged.
The colours are vile, its horrible! The font is big and tacky in the nav... the list goes on. A Web 2.0 style Habbox would be much better...
How to improve...
- Remove the top bits underneath the banner, and add them to the side of the site.
- Re do the banner, completely. It's really blurred some of it and very 'My First Layout'ish.
- Make the Nav font smaller.
- Give it some more gloss and 'Web 2.0' feel.
- I know the cash is needed, however with the recent price bumps for VIP and the introduction of VVIP, I don't feel that the advertisements on the main site are needed. Maybe some small text ads at the bottom and on the Forum put the banner back at the bottom.

BTW: All the people saying this one is nicer than the older one, I have to disagree! This one looks so tacky and cheap. At least the last one had good quality graphics. This really is a step backwards for Habbox.
looks ok, not sure on the two smaller banners at the top though.
I don't really like the left side of the main banner.

For joomla I think that the SEF component you're using is confusing...Maybe you don't know how to set it up but, I never seen someone put the titles as {JoomlaSite}/index.php/pagename. that looks tacky to me but it can be easily resolved.

MAD asked for them not to drop down when you hover on them. To get the menu open you have to click on the tab but away from the words. Clicking the words will take you to the main page for that section. Some sections don't have links which drop down though, only 2 or 3.Quote:
