Yeah this is a failure. First of all why do you have 5 people developing one very small and pre-done website? A vBulletin doesn't need 5 people to design, code and edit it. I could do all of that myself and to you guys and dolls I'm "crap" at what I do. 5 people owning the site isn't going to work one single tiny little bit - why? - as you'll have ego issues. So no more complaining at the fact I know what's what when it comes to my ability as you'll soon all be complaining at each other that one person is higher than the other.
To be perfectly honest Devode was a failure as are all HxF project. SayDev will just be a lot worse than Devode as all the owner's (ignoring RichardKnox as I don't know him) are completely ego filled already.
Caleb has no reason to be developing this site as vBulletin doesn't need a PHP coder.
Joshua has no reason has a web designer should be able to produce graphics.
iTech shouldn't have to be there as pretty sure Matt can code.
RichardKnox shouldn't be there as Matt basically flattened his design.
So yeah in terms of a straight mind then it's a one man project, possibly two to spread the work about.
All luck to you but I don't see it working one bit :)
I sort of agree but it could succeed if there are different people on the team. Everybody will be shouting the odds and arguing, they won't come together as a team. Caleb is the most experienced out of all of them at coding and if someone points out that something could be coded better/better way he'd probably feel a tad peed off. Same with JH. Josh and Matt are going to lock horns because they both do graphics and are going to have a different feel of tastes and schemes.Quote:

Great to hear, just thought things would get in the way because everybody who is good at things has an ego, when that ego is challenged things can get nasty. The only reason I think it will fail is due to you all having things to do in your real lives. You obviously have college or school (whatever you call it in US) and work. So may richard or Source. Josh will be back at school soon and I think JH will too? So you all have things you need to devote to. Saydev isn't going to have the full support it will need to get it off the ground.Quote:
