I heard about the news and me and a friend were just DJing in a local bar. I'm upset to the point of tears and we played his classics as the bar closed.

Its very sad but I think his kids would know by now. Nearly everyone on the world knows about it now. My local radio station is doing countdowns of MJ and the film Moonwalker (I think thats what its called) is on tele tonight.

Some people are huge fans of him and have grown up listening to his music and watching him grow, its a pretty big thing to turn on the tele and hear this news if you are one of those people. You must think that millions of people around the world are stupid because there are alot of tears.

When I saw it on TV and they started playing recordings of him it took a few minutes for me to realise they were recordings and not him walking out getting scanned by security men :(

I have recieved a text message with a joke. I suppose it is funny, but not this soon afer his death.

Maybe in a few weeks, but 2 hours after he died, thats just wrong.

Well what can I say, I went to bed at 9pm and woke at 5am, found out he died. He'll be missed, I know I wont miss him that much but he contributed a whole lot to the musical industry and Im sure underneath he was a nice man. RIP

Yes, everyone who dies deserves sympathy. But theres a huge thing about Michael Jackson as he was famous world wide with millions of fans. For those fans, he was their hero, so basically millions of people's hero just died, hence there is a big deal about it.

Yes, people die every minute and people do sympathize for them ... their loved ones. People do feel sorry for them, but if they didnt know the person they wont be as saddened by it.
Michael had a big affect on alot of people hence its on the news.

@ anyone posting jokes about a dead person, you are absolutely sick.
Oh, I am sure you will love it if one of your family members died and people started posting jokes, edited images about them.
