Will you also be posting the charity we supported last year and the amount raised? It would be interesting for other members (particularly new ones). It might get people donating too, to see if they can break previous records :PQuote:

Sids and kids helps save lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood..
I mean, come on. Kids are our future, why not help save them. Over 3,500 families a year, in Australia ALONE suffer from the loss of a child during the FIRST month of life, or unexpected death in their childhood.
These guys help the families,a nd research to save the kids lives. This is something I am passionate about.

I quite like the idea of the NSPCC or Shelter but I also think a smaller charity would really appreciate a donation, and will happily go with the flow :)
my only problem with the nspcc is that it gets so many donations every year, and i think the money could be given to a smaller childrens charity that would appreciate it far more. not saying that the nspcc don't deserve our money, but like i know they have massive appeals in schools and such forth.

Because their parents kick them out, because the council don't have enough houses, sometimes the council doesn't even take some people on (I actually know someone in this situation). It's so ignorant to say that homeless people CHOOSE to be homeless.Quote:
