how did you find out about the band you are listening to?

the fratellis - heard chelsea dagger on some cd, then got their album.

the blood brothers - someone sent me a track back in the day & i got hooked.

coldplay - idk how i discovered, but who hasn't heard of them?

elliot minor - some street team thing.

arctic monkeys - dno, it was ages ago.

!!! - just saw them somewhere and thought it was a cool band name, so i listened to them and they're ok :)

linkin park - mate told me about them so i downloaded a load of their stuff

lozl, theyve been around a while. they're with the same scene as lcd soundsystem and friends. you actually pronounce it "chk chk chk". apparently they got it from a foreign film. the translation for the sound "chk chk chk" was exclamation points.
