Competition Ideas Series...Part 1.
Pets and Their Situations!
(Please do note: The reason why there is a formal set-out, Terms and Condtions, etc, is NOT because this is an Official Competition run by Habbox or it's competitions staff. This is only how the competition would be viewed on the page and if Habbox should wish to use this competition; it will make it easier to copy and paste. The views and opinions stated in this post are not nessesarily the views and opinions of Habbox and it's staff.)
We all know what kind of awkward (and sometimes funny!) situations our Habbo pixel pets can get into; and this competition is for all you pet owners on Habbo. Take a screenie of your favourite pet moment that just comes up and post it on the forum using a free image hosting service like
Image Shack. Your favourite moment can be anything, from most hilarious to most awkward. Make a snappy post title too; as this is included in the judging. Don't forget include your Habbo(x) name in your post.
To enter this competition you must be a registered member of Habbox Forum.
Your entry should look like:
Habbox Name:
Habbo Name:
My Entry -
One entry per Habbo ONLY, and per PC. Any additional entries, and the original one, will be disqualified.
Terms and conditions: To prevent unfair competitions, we only allow one entry for each Habbox member and one pc. If more entries are sent using the same Habbox member and/or pc, all the entries will be withdrawn from the competition. You can send in your entry until the competition is closed at some time on the specified Habbox date (TBA). The winner will be announced in this forum and in this thread. They will be private messaged by Aquae to collect their prize. Habbox has the right to close the competition at any time before the competition ending date and the winner will be judged from all the entries received up to that point. Aquae will be judging the competition. Any harassment or attempted bribery will get you disqualified and could even get you into trouble on the Forum. ALL Habbox staff are excluded from participating in Competitions, unless Competition states they may. This includes all sites and departments that are involved with Habbox. Trialists may enter any competition whilst they are on trial. Any entries that break the forum rules in anyway will also be withdrawn. Prizes must be claimed within two months of the winner(s) being announced in the announcement forum. Unclaimed prizes will be used again in a future Competition or in any other Habbox competition event.
We don't want questions or comments, please. Do not under any circumstances post them! If you want to make a comment, please post it in the competition question/comments forum or contact a Forum Moderator.
(Edit by 2hd.) This seems that it would not attract many entries, or one that could attract a lot of alted entries. I couldn't see it working.

Remember 2001? Habbo Club first came out? Remember Ione's Birthday in 2002? I am sure many thousands of Habbos out there don't. Chances are; there are only a very small handful who remember the old days of Habbo. In this competition we are looking for those who do remember. Sure, we can all say we remember when HC first came out and what happened on Ione's birthday. But this time it's your turn to write a convincing article that tells us smaller, finer details of what happened. Include some small facts about people you knew with original names, like "John", and what happened to them. What Moderating, scripting (no tutorials, please) and the website looked like. And just a few of the big events that we know a lot of us can recite off-hand. The most fufilling of all te above qualities will win the prize :)
To enter this competition you must be a registered member of Habbox Forum. It is also HIGHLY recommended that you were around when these events happened so you have a better chance of winning.

Edit by 2hd.; A nice competition idea, yet something similar has been done before.
