Agreed. There is one of these every few years, and people never remember. I have to remind people of SARS. I remember that, people just stopped talking about it. There was no day where people went "Hey, SARS is gone!". Its actually still here, but a pandemic didnt happen, so people arent interested anymore. Someone did a report on a "Spagetti festival of trees" where spagetti grew on trees, picked them, and layed them out to dry in the sun. There was more to it, but that was the basic story of it. THOUSANDS of people called in asking where they could get their own spagetti tree. That happened, people do believe that. They had to announce the next day that it was a joke.
