Condas darlin youre only 12 (sorry to say that but yano) so you have a lot more troubles in life to face yet, and if he says anything just slap him round the face.. Though tbh if you had told me what you were going to do I coulda predicted him reacting just like that.

Even though he rejected you, it's not the end of the world. The world moves on and new people come and go. If he was a true friend he would stick by you. Try to make ammends via messenger. Personaly, I wouldn't ever go out with my best friend, I would go out with a person who is not in any of my classes so it dosen't cause any distruption.

i asked this girl out on an airplane once who i liked (we where on a school trip) it was the worst 10 mins of my life cause i spent the whole plane ride trying to get my self to ask her out and then she said no were friends now though it hurts at first but it will all work out
