You will be able to, but not yet. I think Danny has said in this thread that they'll be available 2 weeks after it's re-opened or something.

He said were having nyx but not full version so probally not thinking about it..
No its not :rolleyes: Although hdd advertisements often claim it is, simply to make hdds sound bigger than they are, one terabyte = 1024 gigabytes.
8 bits to the byte
1024 bytes to the kilabyte
Why 1024? well computers, unlike us work in base 2, because everythings stored in binary, ones and naughts. Thus..
0=0 * 1 bit
1= 1
10=2
11=3 * 2 bits
100=4
101=5
110=6
111=7
note naught is still a place, so in hdd terms 8 differnt hard drive memoery spaces exist when useing 3 bits
4 when useing 2 bits
and 1 when useing 1 bit.
Notice anything here? contuing on in base 2, we find as we increase the bits given to store data
1 bit = 1
2 bit =4
3 bit = 8
4 bit = 16
5 bit = 32
6 bit =64
7 bit = 128
8 bit = 256
9 bit = 512
10 bit = 1024
Thus in order to have 1000 memoery locations, you still require 10 bits, yet that same memoery actualy stores 1024.
Which is why in computer terms each kb or mb or gb is comprised of 1024 of the lesser size,
1024kb = 1 mb
1024mb = 1 gb
1024gb = 1 tb
1024tb = 1 pb
I aint slept at all since yesterday so my explaintions probably a little unclear, but point is, 1 tb = 1024gb, not 1000, since computers work in bace two, not base 10, meaning Jaffa Cakes! was right.
I love your long and detailed explanations :P
Never got how to work it out, dad and my big brother can, i never understood it, but i am only 14 :rolleyes:
Uploadz is a fantastic site! :) Well done guys.
Also I think that photobucket and imageshack have several servers so they will spread them around - and probably have an automatic of site backup just in case. So loosing a few files when they are manually backing up and using one server is a feat in its self so KUDOS to you!
uploadz ftw. :) gl danny.
Due to a problem with the backup ftp site, the full backup will take a bit longer than expected.
There will be 2,000 files restored by tomororrow and then I will restore the other 35,000 files during the week.
The uploading tool should be up buy early afternoon tomorrow.
