To be honest, I don't think racism exists anymore and there are no true racists left out there. My opinion is that we should stop all immagration from Africa and countrys like that unless they have good degrees, same with all countrys. I also think the west is more civilised - Am I racist?

Why is racist abuse any worse than gender abuse?
Why is racist abuse any worse than insulting a persons mother?
Why is racist abuse any worse than insulting someones social group?
Why is racist abuse any worse than any form of abuse.
If your going to ban racist's, ban everyone doing that sort of thing, :S

Thing is, I don't see the huge fuss about it, I do it jokingly yet it's taken seriously. I respect people of different ethnicities, but at the same time, you have to be able to make a joke about something :S The same goes for taking the mick out of yourself or your friends. It's just as bad as jokes about people with ginger hair - they can't help it. It's just the same as jokes of disabled people (Stephen Hawkins, despite being as smart as he is, more people will probably know of him, not what he's done, so take the mick) - they can't help it either.

Years ago when i was in primary school they started telling us in assembly what racist was and blah blah blah. I mean.. why would a 9 year old give a toss? They don't know what rascism is so why teach it to them? They may make a remark about someones colour but things like that are better thought of as a joke and eventually forgotten. That way people wouldn't feel bad about themselves trying to not be rascist and everyone would think more positively about who they were born to be.

Also::: If people hadn't started imigrating to other countries and so on so forth there would be no such thing as rascism. People who live in smaller populated areas with no other races living there are less racist than people living with 100's of other cultures.
(I live in Brent, the most multi-cultural place in the world)
my psychology teacher told me this theory the other day that we're all racist because we form an opinion on them just by looking at them and it's impossible not to. Whether we say what we think or not, apparently we form opinions based on the race of the person e.g. an irish person walks along.. their favourite colour must be green etc etc
