We obviously didn't even consider the risk factor at all, just opened this casino instead of debating the point for months. Furthermore we did not consider the fact that senior members only would have rights, and if they're scamming in the casino there would be a problem anyway so at least we would know, however it would not be on Habbox to pay it back, as you bet at your own risk.
And thank you so much for your very in-depth, reasoned out explanation for your dislike of this oh-so-ugly room ;)
Yes, I'm a very sarcastic person :D
room should be small i agree the person above
You don't tend to state you want to pwn my *** in a disagreement...
I wasn't the one who was stating such the comment... "I was expecting a better reply"
Hey, 2 can play this.
You where? such as? Should I lay down red carpet and kiss your *** and re say that whole post so it looks better for you?
I think its a good idea! Now I can scam everyone!!!111one!1!1!
But really, I doubt any manager would be stupid enough or immature enough to scam virtual furni. Its something untrusted and silly people do, and if the managers were as stupid enough to scam, then they wouldnt be managers right now. Simple as.
Plus - if a manager, on the OFF chance, decided they did want a scamming spree, Im pretty sure they wouldnt do it in the Habbox Casino where everyone is keeping an eye, waiting for them to slip up. Watching to see if they do scam someone. And they sure as hell wouldnt be on their normal Habbo account!
So Im gonna say that the Habbox Trade and Casino is going to be pretttttty safe and secure, and take Habbox from strength to strength. Err...innit.
As pointed out above we considered this, but we decided to try it anyway. We will only give rights to Habbox managers and higher rare values staff, so it's not possible for just anybody to buy rights and then scam people.
Even if a dealer doesn't scam there can still be arguments, for example if it is not clearly agreed on in advance what the rules of the game are, but we just hope this won't cause big problems.
im a bit slow, i thought the idea of a habbox casino was put into the recyling bin months ago.
must have been wrong then :P
good idea if it goes well
Of course people get wrongly accused, that's what the rule against accusing people publicly on the forum is there for. I assume the case in the room will be the same; anyone who accuses will be kicked and will be invited to PM higher management with any video/picture proof.
If you want to think like that, habbox but their reputation on the line by hiring randomers as staff, who could very easily post inappropriate content on the site, screw up rare values or other such things. Without trust, habbox would be nothing but sierk running a site by himself.
Theres always a risk betting in any casino - no matter how trusted the person is - they always may decide to scam just like that but the likely hood is much slimer and also heavily depending on the bet.
Managers are trusted with powers so surely they can be trusted with betting. If they can't handle a bet they can simply reject it and say "no thanks" if they are afraid to loose too much :).
