I have mixed opinions. I believe as an adaption this movie will suck, but if you try not to think that it's trying to be Dragonball, it will be alright. Although the reality is, it is trying to be Dragonball. So it will suck.

I can't imagine how any film with such a concept could be remotely good.

Thats why it's regarded as one of the most popular anime series of all time then :P

I remember watching this all the time when I was younger :)

But I somewhat feel that the whole modern aspect won't make the film as enjoyable... :/

Yeah, exactly - anime - if it was live action it would just be rediculous.

I thought the same Misawa but the trailer has changed my mind.

Trailer sucked for me. Just won't live up to the actual DB which was bound to happen but meh.

I like how all the fans of the anime dislike the trailer, but almost everyone else loves it. :P

Looks nothing like the DBZ I grew up watching :'(
