Well seeing as a few years ago people didn't have high rep powers, no one had over power 10 yet everyone seemed to cope and their powers gradually got higher and higher , Just make good posts worthy of rep or buy a few years of vip :rolleyes:
If you waite a few days everyone would have forgotten about the change and will continue to be like how they always were and you will see peoples powers grow over time.
How ever I do agree that you need too many points for a power now.

Let's face it, they won't change it because they are too arrogant.

I want my rep bk, i had loads.
I think its cos staff are jealous of my rep powers.

You don't care about rep but you want a reason for the change? And I'm not a moderator.

The reputation system doesn't need to have people with stupidly high reputation powers, it *should* be a simple system where you can award members with some points for a good post, and take away when there is a bad post. It isn't a system where you go "I NEED LOTS OF REP POINTS TO PROVE I AM THE BEST", which is what it had become I think over time. This way, it reverts back to being a simple system where points can be given without a drastic effect on peoples reputation score.

I think that 600 points is a good amount, maybe a few less on the posts and time registered, I believe this is in discussion right now.

I'd expect about 3,500-4,000 posts and 1 / 1.5 years should be about it.

How come we have Joshuar and Jrh don't like the idea that much, or have 'Better' idea's but Mad said at least once that all the admin's thoroughly agreed with the idea as they reached this decision as a compromise? That seems to be a lie.

Edit: How come 2 of my past infractions have disappeared. I had 2 infractions and 2 warnings, all expired but now 1 infraction and 1 warning has gone? :P
