Best pokemon game?

actually i loved gold, i remember it was my parents wedding and they'd bought it me, i played it all night and got to the 3rd gym in like an hour lol.

The newest one is Pokémon Diamond/Pearl which I think are great games, I've always loved Pokémon Gold for some reason, it brought back so many memories and I named my Ho-Oh, rainbow lmao!

I remember first playing pokemon red when I got a gameboy and spending 2 hours in the room you start in trying to get out, it didn't occur to me to stand on the strangely conspicuous rug and move toward the wall :P

i remember buying gold before it was released, i rushed home and played for agesss lol i got rly excited over it..

For me the best part of Gold was the lottery thing. I never ended up winning it though.

the whole game was tweaked to be more like the anime
you also got squirtle, bulbasaur and charmander. you encountered the team rocket from the anime also. i cant remember what else tho

it did have some new features, like the sevii islands, and a couple of other things.

the annoying thing is, ive always had the game no one else got. i got blue, everyone got red, i got silver, everyone got gold. no matter, i have all of them bar diamond and pearl on my pc :)
i think my favourite is either crystal, or fire red/leaf green. i really hope they update the gold/silver generation

red because that was the only 1 i beat
