Slim chance yes, but someone has to get in. I don't think they will be picking popular names, they will be picking the people who they think are good contestants. They will use the information on the application to determine who would be good housemates. In my honest opinion everyone has an equal chance. If people who are seen as 'popular' get in it's merely because their application was good.
