Spurs were always holding out for 30 million any way so City didn't bump up the price. City paid over the top money for Robinho.. he is nowhere worth 32.5 million.

Anyway, I disagree with you. I think City did bump up the price of what we were going to pay. He had already shot himself in the foot at Spurs so if we didn't up our bid, he most probably would have joined City with a pay rise and more footballing opportunities, until he would possibly get the chance to join United.
Forgive my bad memory, but didn't Berbatov snub United to join Spurs in the first place?
