Screamo and Metalcore are different. Metalcore - that BMTH and crap like that I can't stand, but Screamo - which tends to be slightly more melodic at times and suprisingly isn't all screaming - I actually quite like.

I have no problem with proper hardcore growling because it tends to be full of breakdowns, and breakdowns just do it for me.

Death/metal, same difference. They all like to call themselves something different to sound unique, when in reality it's the same.
And breakdowns make me want to die.

Well no, because Atreyu are Metalcore, and they sound nothing like BMTH.
