Plane crashes in New York

great to see no injuries, well done to the pilots.

Very lucky, the odds are that if you land a plane in the water the fuselage breaks and well yeah :'(

this happened close to where i go to school. its awfully cold out, i dont want to walk out the door let alone go in the water, hah.

It can't be that shallow considering the size of the rescue boats, they'd need quite a lot more water.

Most passengers managed to step straight onto a wing or boat, accorded to Mayer Bloomberg, press converance says very few got wet at all - apparently the pilot had time to walk the wreckage twice to check everyone was off.
