It means that labour have won that seat, but have lost 16% of the vote in the area. The swing means how many people hav moved towards conservative. Out of the two that have been announced, it's an average swing of 9%ish on two SAFE labour constituencies, and that's a lot. If this is replicated across the country, conservatives will gain a majority government.Quote:

my girlfriends dad votes BNP. like most BNP supporters, he's very narrow minded and doesn't read too deep into it, he just takes it as face value. i'm working on him for the next election though :P.

Yeah Conservatives are still looking okay for a majority, they could do with more to be honest though. I think we'll know how it'll pan out in the next 90 minutes :)
